HOW DO I GET STARTED?
Start with the Introductory Package – 4 private sessions. This way you can see if you like Pilates, and your instructor can provide you with a workout that helps you achieve your optimal fitness goals.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Socks and comfortable clothing that will allow you to easily move and stretch.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I WORK OUT?
Two or three times a week is optimal. You should see results in four to six weeks, and in three months feel as though you have a whole new body!!!

IS IT SAFE?
Pilates is a very safe, low-impact system. However, if you have been under a doctor’s care for an injury or recent operation, please ask your health care professional if you are ready to start.

DO I NEED TO DO OTHER EXERCISE?
Complementing Pilates with cardio workouts is beneficial, especially when you are trying to lose weight. Walking, swimming, hiking, biking, or using an elliptical trainer can help you meet your goals.

WHAT IF I HAVE BACK ISSUES?
Building your core can definitely help improve back issues. Many people find Pilates is an excellent choice for preventing or managing back issues. We’ll teach you how to fire up your core and gently use your back muscles. We recommend a few 1-on-1s with a trainer before jumping into classes if you have back problems. If you have major injuries 1-on-1’s are advised and your doctor’s approval to exercise is requested.
